Summary
- The protagonist, June, goes for a backyard grill with her sister and brother-in-law, where they discuss work, June's recent book and various personal matters. June inquires about tracing the IP address of a harassing Twitter account.
- Back at home, June creates a website in an attempt to trap the person harassing her online and to find their whereabouts.
- While waiting for the harasser to engage with the website and reveal their location, June watches as fickle online communities quickly turn their allegations and accusations towards the late author Athena Liu.
- June’s trap works and she receives the IP address of the harasser. She sends it to her brother-in-law, who geolocates it to Fairfax. June suspects the harasser is Geoffrey Carlino, Athena’s ex-boyfriend.
