Summary

- They reach the island of Lemnos where they rest. His companion, who is a warrior, expresses doubts about his upcoming battles. His reluctance stems from a traumatic experience with the girl's brutal death.
- During their discussion at Lamnos, his friend swiftly kills a venomous snake that was nearby, but unnoticed by the protagonist.
- Subsequently, his companion's attitude slightly changes, and he remains vigilant while carrying his spear regularly.
- The fleet nears Troy, only to discover that the Trojans are awaiting their arrival, already armed and prepared for battle. Hector, leader of the Trojans, is seen rallying his troops.
- Achilles, the protagonist's companion, defies expectations by throwing his spear and killing an enemy from a distance. In doing so, he draws first blood for the Greeks.
