Summary
- Struan tells the bishop that he needs his help with a project in Hong Kong
- Struan explains that he wants to build a dock in Hong Kong to attract more merchants and businesses

- Struan tells the bishop that the dock will be beneficial for everyone in Hong Kong, including Catholics and the church
- Struan offers the bishop a share in the project in exchange for his help

- The bishop tells Struan that he will support the project in exchange for a share in it and for the construction of a church on the dock

- Mary Sinclair is sick and has taken poison in an attempt to have an abortion
- The poison caused her to miscarry, but also caused severe bleeding

- Struan asks if Mary will be able to have children in the future and the doctor says it is possible, but it is up to God
