Chapter 46

Summary

• In the chapter, the main character, Livira, uses a brush she found to soak up a patch of blood found near the spot where a portal used to stand past.
• Livira and Arpix decide not to draw the portal in the chamber they are currently in. Instead, they head for a far door, their movement observed by a raven.
• After walking for some time, they finally reach the spot where they've decided to draw the portal. Livira starts drawing a circle using the blood, which is luckily enough to activate the portal.
• Livira goes through the portal alone and wakes up later near a pool. Evar is gone but she is somehow able to sleep.
• Evar and Livira later reunite and jump into a pool, which transports them to a new location. They find themselves in a large area, surrounded by hundreds of beings known as assistants.
• The pair follow a trail of child-size footprints, questioning their significance.
• They eventually reach the city and a drastic realization hits Livira: even though it's the location of her city, it's not her city.
• Jetting off to the city, Livira acquires the ability to fly, leaving Evar to follow in a completely athletic manner. They reach a grand building where they decide to try and teach Evar to fly.
• Livira and Evar dance together, accidentally floating upwards in the process, causing Evar to surprising realize that they were floating above the ground.
