Chapter Sixty-Seven

Summary

• Ruhn is waiting for Bryce in the apartment lobby when she arrives. They observe Flynn and Declan standing guard on the rooftops in the area.
• They head up to the apartment, where Bryce is upset by remnants of Hunt's presence, and so distressed that she becomes physically ill.
• Bryce struggles to accept that Hunt had deceived her and might have burned down her old apartment to destroy evidence.
• Bryce reflects on Danika's death and how she now 'lives' in the Sleeping City, due in part to Bryce's actions.
• Fury and Ruhn have a conversation in the kitchen, in which they discuss Athalar being held under the Comitium, Justinian's impending death, and punishment for a wraith named Viktoria.
• Viktoria, will reportedly be put into a box and cast into the the Melinoë Trench, forced to endure unbearable isolation and darkness.
• Bryce remains on the couch, consumed by her thoughts and struggling with the revelations.
