Bryce and Hunt discuss their suspicion of Sabine, who had lied about Danika's whereabouts. They knew they needed a plan to catch her if she was the one summoning demons, but proceeding with arrest would be tricky, as Sabine was influential among the wolves.

Hunt and Bryce switched topics to her personal issues. Bryce disclosed that her ex-lover, Connor's, former romantic interest, Amelie, had been jealous of her relationship with him and still harboured feelings for him.

Bryce talks about how she was ridiculed online after some past messages between her and Connor were leaked. The public shaming was so bad that she once considering ending her life but was thankfully interrupted by a call from her friend Juniper, who helped her get through it. They discussed Hunt's own troubled history, including his time in slavery.

Hunt, spending time alone later, retrieved archived video footage of the night Danika was murdered. He watched Bryce, high on drugs, running after the demon that had murdered her friend. He also realized that no one bore witness to Bryce's tremendous loyalty and love for Danika except for him.

Hunt got lost in his thoughts reflecting on the untimely death of Danika and other pack members, how it had affected Ithan Holstrom, and how much Bryce cared for Danika.
