Chapter 30: Dunbar

In Chapter 30 of Catch-22, Yossarian experiences a flashback of the mission during which Snowden died, causing him to panic. He also begins seeing Nurse Duckett and spends time with her on the beach, where he reflects on the deaths of Clevinger and Orr. Meanwhile, McWatt plays a prank on the base by buzzing the beach, but ends up accidentally killing Kid Sampson with his plane. As a result of the tragedy, Colonel Cathcart increases the required number of missions to sixty-five.
