Chapter 33: Nately’s Whore

In Chapter 33 of Catch-22, Yossarian goes to Rome with Nately to rescue Nately's prostitute from some army officers. After the rescue, the prostitute falls in love with Nately and they spend time together in bed. Nately starts to have fantasies about bringing the prostitute and her little sister to America and raising the little sister as his own child. However, when he suggests that the prostitute stop going out and hustling, she becomes angry and they argue. The other men try to help, but Yossarian ends up punching Nately in the face, breaking his nose. The prostitute is angry with Yossarian for this.
